Local citation checker that compares you with the businesses above you
What it does: Pack Leader searches up to 35 directories for your business and for up to 5 competitors at the same time. You get a table of who is listed where, and a list of the listings the businesses above you have and you don't, sorted must, high, nice.
Most citation tools check your business alone. Knowing which listings the businesses that outrank you already have tells you what to fix first.
What you get
| Part of the report | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Coverage | How many of the checked directories list you, and each competitor |
| Gap list | Directories where 1 or more competitors are listed and you are not |
| Priority | must, high or nice, so you know what to do this week |
| Manual checklist | Listings no search can check: Google, Bing, Apple, your state record, city license, local chamber, data aggregators |
How the directories are chosen
Every check covers the 24 core directories (Yelp, BBB, Facebook, Nextdoor, Yellow Pages and more), then adds the set for your industry, read from your Google category. The full lists and priorities are in our local citations guide.
After the check
- Fix wrong listings first. A listing with an old phone number does more harm than a missing one.
- Fill the must gaps that 2 or more competitors have.
- Keep one version of your name, address and phone, and paste it everywhere.
Run the local SEO audit first, see your Maps rank across the city, or compare plans.
